Michael Stevenson (best known as Tyga) was born November 19, 1989 in Gardena, California and raised in Compton, California. He is a young known rapper currently signed to Young Money Entertainment/Cash Money Records/Universal Records. Starting at the age of 13 he knew exactly what he wanted to do, rap. At the age of 17 he became known for his compromising oath to the rap world and his artistic integrity in his lyrics.  Tyga released his first mixtape Young On Probation in 2006. Later on, he got his chance on stage to open for the Fall Out Boys and Gym Class Heroes on their Young Wild Things Tour and that’s where he met Lil Wayne. Tyga was pursuing a new path of identity for the West. With G.E.D. Inc (Gett’N Every Dolla) full of his closest friends right by his side he was making timeless music. In 2008 he released his debut album No Introduction in June. Featured artist such as Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, Travis McCoy, Gym Class Heros and was produced by Patrick Stum. His song “Coconut Juice” became his debut single off the album. It was the hottest song of the summer with a flow of rhythm and pop.

From 2008 to 2009 Tyga put out numerous mixtapes. In 2010 he collaborated with R&B singer Chris Brown and created the mixtape called Fan of a Fan. This mixtape was to show their appreciation and dedication to their fans. This being one of the best mixtapes so far with every song being great. They released their debut single “Deuces” featuring Kevin McCall reaching #1 on Billboards Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs, music video reaching #1 on television and being nomintaed for a Grammy. This young man is not all street hype and these mixtapes are only just a preview of what he has to come in the future. With his effortless flow in his music and has a fashionable swagger setting many trends Tyga is on the rise to stardom. He is most famous for his platinum hit single “Rack City” produced by DJ Mustard. He is currently in the process of working on more mixtapes to bring his fans and his second album Careless World: Rise of The Last King in stores now.

Tyga-Unleashed.net is a blog created by one fan in 2009. Definition of unleash/unleashed: to release or loose from or as if from a leash and Tyga’s name representing a tiger sooo…you put two and two together. The meaning behind the name (for those who don’t understand) Tyga Unleashed was meant to mean that this current blog will be releasing ALL info on Tyga. This blog is NOT affiliated with Tyga in anyway. All the information that is put on this site is what I have found. The reason this blog was started was because at the time there was no up to date site on Tyga where fans could get information and ask questions. It was about time one was made.
